"Building the urban future and Transit Oriented Development (BUFTOD) Rail and other modes, connecting with urban and regional development".
An international scientific and operational conference on TOD.
The BUFTOD conference is a dedicated arena for the debate on TOD, allowing the crossing of scientific disciplines and the associated approaches, exchanging on cases studies at the international level (in Europe, Americas, Asia ...). The BUFTOD 2012 conference will explore the role of rail and other trans -port modes in transit oriented development and the connection with spatial development at the urban and regional scales.

The plenary session on monday 17th April 2012 will be organised around a series of keynote speeches with:
