LVMT’s researchers at TRB Washington, DC (jan. 2009)

Eight researchers and Ph-D candidates from LVMT presented papers at the annual congress of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). TRB is the top ranking world event for transport researchers. It covers all the fields of transportation, including explotation, management, planning, financing, uses, impacts... , with the only exception of the vehicle design and construction.

TRB congress is taking place once a year in Washington DC. It gathers 10 000 professionals and about 1 500 papers are presented covering about fifty research areas. At TRB’09, (88th TRB congress) LVMT presented six papers : dynamic trafic asignment on the road network ; assignment and confort in the public transportation network ; best departure time modeling ; destination choice modeling ; best assessment method for origin destination flows ; work and travel behavior on weekdays in Paris Region over 20 years".
